I have lost 55 pounds since last February surprising my family this past Christmas when I saw them. I would like to lose another 35-40 lbs. I need a personal trainer to help me with my thighs and "love handles" as they are my trouble spots. |

I turned 50 years old this year and have been the ultimate couch potato all my life. I really need to start an exercise program to help with the next 50 years. |

My story begins from childhood. I was always on the chubby side and as I grew up I became more and more overweight. By age twelve I hit a whopping 200 pounds, and my entire life I have struggled to lose the weight and discover a fit and healthy me.
When I went to college in 2004-2008 I gained even more weight and wound up over 324 pounds. After that I had to come home and take care of my mom who had cancer and passed away in 2009. I sacrificed everything to keep her home until the very end, and I took care of her, but unfortunately, I didn't take care of myself.
Now, a year later, I live alone and can finally focus on me. I am 24 years old, and I have managed to lose only 38 pounds and am down to 287. But this struggle is supremely difficult because times are tough and my town has very few jobs, so I am officially unemployed and unable to afford a gym membership. I do go to my college gym on weekends for free because I am an Alum there, but I'm not allowed to go during weekdays, and finding the motivation to do this all alone is very difficult.
This opportunity would be invaluable to me. I know when I have people who can help me, I tend to be very motivated and inspired. Please consider me for a personal trainer and I promise to give 100% effort to reach my weight loss goal of 146 pounds and become the beautiful girl I know I can be!
Thank you! |

I'm a 39 year old, 5'9' 300lb male. I have a wonderful wife and a darling 6 year old daughter that I would like to live long enough to see get married and maybe even have a grand child. I injured my knee in the military and have had knee problems off and on. I was also just diagnosed with sleep apnea and will have to use that darn machine until I drop weight. It's much harder than just saying "Put down the chocolate cake and step away from the table fattie!" I need that little extra help to get started. |

I resolved to start losing weight and getting into shape on 1/1/10 and I dropped approximately 30 lbs and increased my fitness level to ride a road bike over 100 miles in under 6 hours. My weight has plateaued and I need a trainer to get me to the next level (I'm still about 20 lbs above my target). |

Being pregnant and keeping up with regular exercise is a challenge. Not only is it difficult to exercise safely, but many gyms and trainers are not familiar with adapting their routines to pregnant women. Conversely, prenatal specialists are knowledgeable but very expensive and no longer useful after pregnancy. I loved my gym (Reebok Sports Club) but it's almost useless to me for the next six months. I would love to find a gym and trainers that I can build a long-term relationship with, whether pregnant or not. |

After 15 years of marriage and finding out that it's over, you start to look into and at yourself.
Not only do I look to improve inside but the outside package also. I started at home doing some exercises but am not sure if what I'm doing is correct. Personal Training seems to be what I need. |

Hi! cool site and giveaway. Saw your advert on facebook so though i'd give it a try. I'm from Chicago and my boyfriend of 4 years just proposed to me. and we are getting Mauied (yes i said it - total SATC reference for all you ladies who work at Mygymandtrainer) in Maui in july. We're doing an 100% destination wedding, on the beach. I got my dress but i may or may not have gotten it one size smaller than what i weigh right now!!! I know, it was not very smart but I can't change it at this point. So short of joining that show Bridalplasty I really really need a trainer in Chicago who can help me lose a dress size. Otherwise I will not be able to fit into my wedding dress. So please, please, let me win. I am up for any kind of personal training that can get me to lose a dress size 5 months. thank you! |

Hi my name is Melanie and I'm from Miami, FL. I just had a baby 8 months ago and I've been trying to get back to my old weight on my own but it's been really hard. I'd never really worked out before getting pregnant but now i think i need to since i'm noticing some areas that really need toning more so than weight loss. Plus, living in Miami you're ALWAYS surrounded by people in bathing suits or skimpy clothes or no clothes at all!! So overall, i should win because #1 I'm new to fitness and REALLY need a trainer to show me what to do. #2 I really need to get back into a pair of shorts and not the longer/baggier stuff that i've been wearing bc that kind of stands out quite a bit in Miami. and #3 because I just had a baby and who deserves a freebie more than a new mom? I've heard a lot about pilates so would love to try that out but any kind of personal training would be awesome. Thank you!!! |
